Women's Health Advocates
We are a coalition of advocates, experts, and leaders on a mission to ensure access to effective, accurate breast cancer early detection screening for ALL women.
Our Mission
Educate and raise awareness on breast cancer and the importance of accurate early detection to save lives throughout government.
Ensure access to the technologies needed for early detection in ALL women through insurance coverage—advocating for the Find It Early Act in Congress, which is key for the up to 50% of women with dense breasts.
Empower women and men to be effective advocates.
Our Strategy
We are launching a grassroots mobilization effort to get advocates like you united, informed and prepared to educate Members of Congress on these issues and advocate for them to co-sponsor this legislation and pass it in both the House and Senate.
Together, we are unstoppable!
The Find it Early Act
The Find It Early Act was introduced in the House and Senate with bipartisan support, thanks to U.S. Reps. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) and Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) and Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Roger Marshall, MD (R-KS). In the 119th Congress, the Senate bill wasre-introduced in March and the House bill will be re-introduced this fall.
There are six other proposed bills that could save women's lives by providing education, access to more accurate early detection screening, and more coordinated research on breast cancer. You can advocate for your Members of Congress to co-sponsor them to increase the likelihood of their passage here thanks to our teamwork with Women’s Health Advocates.
